  • This is a very dangerous activity and should be not be done. In Atlanta they use Police Officers dressed as Construction around busy intersection, and catch people Texting while Driving.

It takes only a few seconds to cause a disaster.

    • Texting and driving; I use to do it while driving long distances on open road and at stop signs/red lights. But I realized that it took my eyes off the road to long to complete a full text and i was sending miss spelled words all the time so I stopped. Then i started noticing people on the road doing it and they were either going over the line on the road while driving or going so slow as to complete the text. Also not realizing when the light turned green. I then realized this use to be me. I know i probably pissed off a lot of drivers. I haven’t done this in many years and I will not go back to it as I now see the other side and the dangers of texting and driving. I love my family and my life to much to put mine and others lives at in danger.

Kailee Mills’ relatives revealed that she was in the car with three friends heading to a Halloween party in late October when she unbuckled her seatbelt to take a photo, news station KRIV reported.

Seconds later, the 16-year-old was killed in a rollover wreck, just blocks from her home.

“The car went off the road. She was ejected and she died instantly,” her dad, David Mills, told the news station. “All the other kids in the car they had their seat belts on and they all survived with very little injury.”

Authorities said they believe the driver was speeding and lost control of the car, news station KTRK reported.

Mills’ family said they are speaking out to promote seat belt safety. They started the Kailee Mills Foundation, which works to put decals on car windows to remind passengers to buckle up.

“Our daughter would be here today if she had been wearing her seatbelt,” the dad said.
